At the heart of our journey lies a profound philosophy: the art of slow travel. We invite you to wander with us, not just through the landscapes of Morocco, but through the rich tapestry of its culture and heritage. Our commitment is to travel in a way that honors both the Earth and its people, leaving the lightest of footprints as we explore this extraordinary land.
We are passionate advocates for ethical, sustainable, and responsible travel. Our aim is to create experiences that resonate deeply, fostering connections that transcend the ordinary. Each step we take is guided by respect for the environment and the communities we encounter, ensuring that the beauty we discover today can be cherished by generations to come.
In our travels, we seek to preserve the stories, wisdom, and history of Morocco—an intricate mosaic of traditions and tales waiting to be shared. We believe that every journey has the power to transform us, opening our hearts and minds to the wonders of the world. By engaging meaningfully with local cultures and practices, we weave together an authentic narrative that celebrates the spirit of Morocco.
We are delighted to share a glimpse of who we are; Jamal Ouahi, is a licensed tour guide from a small Berber village in the breathtaking region of Tinghir, Morocco, where majestic mountains and fertile valleys echo the rich heritage of his ancestors. Deeply rooted in the culture and traditions of southern Morocco, Jamal brings an authentic perspective to every journey, offering guests a meaningful connection to the land and its people. Beyond his expertise as a cultural guide, Jamal also has a professional background in mental health and individual support work. This unique experience gives him a compassionate and inclusive approach to travel, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed, understood, and cared for throughout their journey. His profound passion for Morocco’s diverse heritage, combined with his sensitivity to individual needs, weaves depth, humanity, and enchantment into each experience.
Alongside him is Sarah Jessica Marie Burns, Australian photographer and videographer from Gubbi Gubbi Country on the Sunshine Coast. Through her lens, she lovingly captures the very soul of Morocco, revealing its breathtaking beauty and timeless stories in exquisite detail. Sarah’s creative work is deeply informed by a philosophy of living slowly, allowing her to connect with people and places in an intentional, heartfelt way. Sarah’s visual storytelling is not only aesthetically striking, but also grounded in respect, curiosity, and a desire to preserve the essence of fleeting moments. In addition to her photography and film work, Sarah is engaged in personal and artistic projects that explore themes of cultural identity, architecture, and the quiet poetry of everyday life. Her eye for architectural craftsmanship, especially in Morocco’s ancient medinas and villages, brings attention to the textures, forms, and histories that often go unnoticed.
Together, we are eager to welcome you into the heart of this remarkable land and sharing the beauty we see, with you, whilst guiding you through its enchanting landscapes and sharing in the creation of unforgettable memories that will remain with you in your heart long after your journey ends.
