The story of a carpet
A journey into the Atlas Mountains where Moroccan carpets are born from wool, hands, and time. Sheep move across seasonal landscapes, their wool sheared by hand, washed in river water, and left to dry in the mountain air. In nearby villages, women gather to card and spin fibres into thread, continuing traditions passed down through generations. Dyed with natural plants, roots, and minerals, or left in their raw earthy tones, each carpet is woven slowly on hand looms—row by row, conversation by conversation—becoming a living expression of land, family, and memory.
